Prismatic Arts Festival – September 26-October 9th
The Prismatic Arts Festival is a multidisciplinary arts festival that showcases & celebrates original work by Indigenous artists & artists of colour across Canada.
The Bluenose Ghost Festival’s Haunted House – Every weekend in October
The Bluenose Ghosts Festival was created to showcase local history through the works of Dr. Helen Creighton. Helen Creighton was born and lived most of her life in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. She wrote thirteen books of traditional songs & stories, of which her book Bluenose Ghosts is the most notably known. Artists, performers & local historians creatively showcase Bluenose Ghosts through community art projects. It’s a spooky good time!

Nocturne – October 13th-15th
Nocturne is a free, contemporary art festival in Halifax presented by the Nocturne: Art at Night Society. This four day festival brings art to the streets of Halifax & Dartmouth. You do not want to miss out on this annual festival!
Francophone Fest Halifax – October 20th-30th
This festival celebrates Francophone diversity in the HRM through cultural, literary, sporting, and social events.
Dartmouth Handcrafters Show – October 21-23rd

Hal-Con – October 28th-30th
Join other like-minded sci-fi & comic book fans at Hal-Con to celebrate all the fandoms. This is a chance to make new friends and get to meet some of the actors in these fandoms!
