I’m Melisa! I am the Transaction Coordinator for the Evans Real Estate Team. What does a Transaction Coordinator do? Great Question! I help to provide the white glove customer service we’re known for. I liaise between our customers, lawyers, mortgage brokers, agents & inspectors. I help our customers throughout the entire real estate transaction and beyond. I also handle the social media, website, general enquires & all things administrative. You could say I am the hub / centre of the universe here at the Evans Team 😉 I also help provide insider knowledge about what our beautiful province has to offer as I am the only born & raised Bluenoser on the team. If you get the pleasure to interact with me, you’ll quickly learn that I care deeply about our customers and always try to see the sunshine on a cloudy day. Some might say I radiate positivity (might be the caffeine haha). I’m a problem solver who wants to help take the stress out of buying, selling & investing.
I currently live in the west end of Halifax with my partner Dave and my fur child Leo. In the summer we split our time between home, Dave’s cottage just outside Annapolis Royal & Cape Breton where I have extensive family & friends. I’m a proud Swifty, true crime addict, Habs fan, & horror movie lover. When I’m not getting lost in the woods with Dave I can be found near the ocean, dancing around belting out country music lyrics, cross stitching, crocheting, bingeing reality TV (#scandavol) or in the kitchen cooking up something delicious. I am a proud Auntie to my sister’s 3 children (Hayden, Eugene & Rylee) and Dave’s brother’s child Amelia. Soft pretzels are my weakness and I’ve never met a dill pickle I didn’t like.
I come from a long administrative & customer service background with most of my work experience coming from the construction and education sectors. As a child I dreamed of being the next Indiana Jones or Lara Croft. I have a passion for adventure and reading so naturally I decided to go to school to become a Librarian. My life plan didn’t exactly play out the way I thought it would be that’s okay because it brought me to the wonderful world of real estate and I couldn’t be happier to be part of this team!
